Hello! My name is Melissa Filippi. I used to be Melissa Zorn, but I got married nine months ago to the kindest, hottest, most generous boy out there! Daniel always gets me flowers, not just for holidays, but just because. He opens my car door every time we get in the car. He gets my toothbrush ready for me every night and brings it to me in bed. He is definitely my better half and my boy BFF. Life with him has been so fun I can’t wait to see what eternity has in store for us. We met two and a half years ago. I knew on our first date that I would marry him. On March 20, 2014 he proposed to me and on July 22, 2014 we got married.

Here are a few things you should know about me. I am very superstitious and I knock on wood or my knuckles all the time. I can’t draw to save my life, even though I wish I could. My favorite colors are black, gold and leopard print. Yes, leopard print can be a color because I said so! I am a candy addict! 99.9% of the time I will have candy with me. I love it all, but some of my favorites are purple skittles, gummie butterflies (from Winco in the bulk section), bubble gum, almond and peanut m & m’s and chewy sprees. I really could go on and on about the types of candy I love, but that could take me all day! I HATE HATE HATE to be scared. I hate scary movies, haunted houses and anything zombie. I get more scared at those things than children. I either cry, scream or have major anxiety anytime I am faced with something scary. Lastly, I am obsessed with fashion. I am a shopping enthusiast. Like most girls I love shoes, handbags, sunglasses and lip gloss.

I love both of my families so much, the Zorn’s and Filippi’s. I have been blessed with amazing parents. If you don’t know my mom and dad you should. They are the definition of selflessness. If you ask anyone they would agree with me. I love all of my nieces and nephews. I have six nephews and three nieces. Brody used to be my favorite, but now I think Brynn is. I know I shouldn’t have favorites, but I do. All nine of them are the cutest human beings in the world!
